Electrochemistry Module
Model 270 Specifications

Output:
  • 0-2 volts DC +/- 1mV
  • 0-750 mA
Connections:
  • CAT-5 plug to 402/507/522 interface
  • Red/Black banana jacks to electrochemical cell
The Model 270 Electrochemistry Module provides a controlled voltage or current for eletroplating (electrogravimetric) experiments, or for coulometric titrations.

Electrogravimetric experiments include determination of Avogadro's number, determination of atomic mass, charge of an unknown element, or just simple electroplating.

Voltage output for the module is 0-2 volts DC, which is controlled to within 1 mV by MicroLab 402, 507, or 522 interface. Tha available current from the module is 750 mA. The programming capabilities of MicroLab software allow for reading voltage across the electrochemical cell as well as current through the cell.
